Could I get some help? Looking for photos.

Hey all!

Something I’ll be doing going forward is writing articles for the Ludkins Collectables website: www.ludkinscollectables.com/blog

Don’t worry, I’ll still be writing and posting articles here as well.

That said, in order to add a nice visual element to the pieces I’ll be writing I would really love to add some photos from the members here. Specifically I’ll be writing on security topics, so if you want to upload photos of how you display, or how you store (or what you store in) those would be really great to have. But I’m not opposed to see the best side of your collection as well. Don’t be afraid to show off! I certainly won’t say no to anything you want to upload pertaining to your collection.

Anything posted on this thread means you’re happy to share your image with Ludkins Collectables (LC). LC will give you full photo credit by using your username associated with your post. If you would like your first and last name shared, you can leave that in your post, or PM me directly for credit.

As always, thank you for taking the time to help me out. And I hope you’ll read the content I’ll be uploading to LC!

Most of my collection is off site but have this case that i use for some of the cheaper cards… Bad photos but can take the time and get some better ones if its something you could use

I took a few pictures of how I store/display my collection in my man cave but can’t figure out how to add pictures to my post. How do I do it? lol

Pictures is indeed something most people are confused with at first, so I’ll quote what I mentioned before here:

Can’t really add much to the topic myself… Here are all my (non-duplicated) cards:

Which are just lying around in my closet, on the ground, or anywhere else I have space in my room. So very secure. :slightly_smiling_face:

As for my duplicate cards, they are currently in four transparent plastic boxes.

I keep my lower end cards in a large three ringed binder. Ultra pro postcard pages fit PSA cards very well. I place the cards in graded card sleeves and use the adhesive on the sleeves to hold the cards in the binder pages.

My more cherished cards are kept in a bank vault.

I’m glad to see that you’re keeping those DCEs safe for me. I’ll need them in my energy collection some day.

I think this is the first time ever on E4 someone posting his cards in the actual bank vault.

For my binder sets, I store them in Dex Protection 12 Pocket Portfolios. My “High End” cards I keep in a run of the mill lock box from wal-mart but I’m looking into buying an old fashioned cast iron/fire proof safe. I plan on getting the heaviest one I can find and then bolting it into the floor (nobody is making off with a 500+ pound safe lol). Everything else I display in an old china cabinet I refinished and applied UV resistant coating to the glass (95% of the time I drape a blanket over it when I’m not home/in the room).

With those post card pages, does the whole psa case fit inside the page slot in the same way a raw card fits in a typical binder page slot? Or is the case out of the slot? Or am I interpreting it that the psa case is in a sleeve and only the adhesive strip portion is tucked inside the page slot, and thats whats holding it there. Anyway this is a great idea and nice looking display/storage method!

@amcgl58, I wish I had an Eevee Cabinet :scream_cat::scream_cat::scream_cat::scream_cat: imagine!!! @lucid , @therealonewolf

I display mine in frames, hanging from the wall.

For secure storage I use this metal box:

@mikejofthecoast the whole card tucks in the sleeve like a normal card, the adhesive on the graded card sleeve just keeps the card from accidentally moving around.

You really should look into getting one for your Eevee cards. It’ll only cost about $40 tops (maybe even free if you check letgo/craigslist) between the cost of the cabinet and UV treating the glass (spray was $2 at the craft store). Plus 2 or 3 weekends refinishing the wood and spraying the glass.
