Also for what it’s worth, you can freeze row 1 by right clicking the row- it’ll stay up top when you scroll. I’m not sure if that’s easier than hiding them for you or not

12 mb, and nope! I just make new google accounts when one runs out of storage
To be fair, I keep several accounts for work stuff anyway, so adding another isn’t that big of a deal

Packages have started coming in from Inferno X, and with the Phantasmal Flames release soon on the way, I figured it was time for an update here as well.
With the new generation of releases, I also got a second 4x4 binder! Assuming I don’t find any straggler prints I’ve missed, the first binder is now DP Base - Crown Zenith/VSTAR Universe, and the second is Phantasmal Flames/Inferno X and beyond.
First, some Indonesian pickups from a group order! Not quite done with Indonesian yet, but these were a good stepping stone in that direction.
Korean Friends in Hisui to match the Friends in Sinnoh I was able to scoop a while back
Cards from my and my wife’s joint CardTrader order- the majority are her Spheals, but I did get a few in that package too! Especially happy about the Prinplup there, since I’d tried to order that one six times (yes, six).
My current spoils from Inferno X! Still need the Dawn SAR and Empoleon FA, but I’m waiting for the price to come down on the Dawn a bit more. Super excited about a new steel type empoleon though!
And finally to round out today’s update, a Korean Akari’s Pikachu. I now have 8/13 languages for this artwork!
With the new prints and collection additions, I am now sitting at just over 70% of all Piplup line + Dawn cards in my collection scope (again, lol). Very happy with how this collection has filled out over the years!

How old are you?
Not sure what exactly went on here but ahem… anyway.
I’m once again fully caught up with English set releases (before Phantasmal Flames even officially releases on Friday, lol) thanks to my local friends at our prerelease and my LGS for cutting me a deal on both Dawns last night.
One of my major goals for the year was to keep up with any English sets, as I know myself and my tendency to be tempted to put off actually buying the “big chase” cards. I’m very happy to report that English Phantasmal Flames is complete, and I’m only missing the SAR Dawn in Japanese now. The other languages I’m planning to pick up in the next few weeks as they pop up, but I’m satisfied for the time being as once again having at least one of each artwork.

Super excited for you about the hoard of new cards that you got in one set, two special arts and two full arts at once is very close to species collectors’ ultimate dream

Thank you, it really is a species collector’s dream with so many new releases at once! There were well over 100 new prints added with Phantasmal Flames/Inferno X (when you count all languages), and it’s been so much fun filling out the new era so far.
About the spreadsheet, that really means a ton! I’ve put a lot of work into it over the years, and I’m super happy with how it’s come.

Mail day (a little late, but who’s counting?)
First up, some Thai promos and other odds and ends!
This package was delivered about 20 minutes before my partner and I left for our Thanksgiving weekend trip to see the family, so I ended up opening it on the way. I especially love the set stamps on the promos! All of the Inferno X and beyond cards are going into a second Piplup Tome ™, which worked out to be a nice, clean break between yellow border/silver border and new era.
This past week, I also received a package that’s been in the works for quite some time, courtesy of @zaneat for middlemanning from CardMarket and @slowqueen for letting us ship our cards together!
Some super exciting pick ups here, including the French Play! Promo Empoleon V, several hard to find German POP series prints, and the final card needed on the front page of my DP-SWSH binder: the Portuguese DP Base Piplup
One of my primary directions for the year was to focus on mid era prints, trying to complete what I could of DP- and BW-era before trying for the much more abundant modern chase cards (which I do still definitely want). I’m happy to report that from DP Base, I’m only missing 1 Piplup (Polish reverse), 2 Prinplups (German reverse, Spanish Burger King), and Empoleons are now complete with this most recent package! I do need quite a few Empoleon LV.X cards, as well as Super Scoop Ups, but I’m happy with where I’m at for the main trio for this year.
At the end of the month, I’ll be posting a recap on all of my major collection goals for 2025, but until then, thanks for reading, and happy collecting!
