Choose two released sets, mix the first and second names and tell me what your new set would focus on

Hey all I just wanted to create a light hearted and fun thread. Rules are simple; Just use any released set to create a new name and explain what cards would come in those packs.

Example: Evolving Skies, and Darkness Ablaze

= Evolving Ablaze, that focuses on Final stage fire evolutions of the main starters, OR Darkness Skies that focuses on Team Rocket style legendary birds from all generations.

Pick just one though to create whatever you think works best!

(If the set name has just one name like VS you can include just that word with the other ones. Creativity is endless idc!)

Ancient origins - chilling reign:

Ancient reign would solely be for vintage reprints and nostalgy boost from the original sets

(I’m also wondering how many of you were thinking of legendary legends)

Weird but i think a silvery ocean combined with like forbidden legends id call it forbidden ocean or something like that and it would focus primarily on water, ghost and similar types. Tentacruel, mareanie, jellicent, huntail, stuff youd find in deeper water. Like, stranded out at deep sea comes to mind. A drifblim in the doldrums would be cool. Throw a secret rare dhelmise in there too :pinched_fingers::pinched_fingers:

Ex Delta species + HE unleashed - Delta unleashed, a set featuring delta species mon up through current gen. Give me some me set specific lore. Chase card is a non Tera lightning type gholdengo ex

Pokémon GO + Delta Species: Pokémon Species. A huge set with only Commons without any RH’s, Ultra/Secret Rares, FAs, etc. and also lacking Trainer/Energy cards, with one card for each existing Pokémon.

Hidden Fates + Lost Origin: Hidden Origin, focused on evo lines that spread across generations - e.g. Magby (gen 2) + Magmar (gen 1) + Magmartor (gen 4).

Southern Islands + McDonald’s Collection
= Southern McDonald’s

These promotional packs are available at all McDonald’s within Texas with your happy meal. They would feature typical Pokemon like Pikachu and starters amongst other fan favourites. Most notably they’d all be cosplaying as the best gunslingers, cowboy boot wearing, truck driving, ranch living and steer wrestlers you’ve ever seen!

Base set + Neo Destiny → Base Destiny; a new reprint set of Base set cards like Legendary Collection, but with shiny cards (Charizard/Blastoise/Venusaur/Raichu/Mewtwo) as secret rares.

Neo Revelation and Temporal Forces = Neo Forces, Set focusses on showcasing the new pokemons in a new area that resembles in the artworks.

Ex Dragon + Lost Origin
Dragon Origins
A set that focuses on dragon type origins and shows them in their habitat hundreds of years ago long before humans were civilized. Would be dope to see an ancient dragonite or charizard with epic landscapes

Chilling Tempest just sounds right. Ice type themes

There were four permutations of this and you chose the only weird one.

Furious rivals - a neat set of iconic trainer’s pokemon (red’s venusaur, blue’s Charizard, etc)

Rising fists - paradise dragona but fighting types

Furious rising - a team rainbow rocket themed set

You chose…well…
