Love that the people defending it are people that own it stop over hyping it to be something it’s not. It’s a great little card to have yeh sure but it’s always gonna have a stigma about it being fake or not

The people that own a copy obviously have the biggest stake in what people think about the card. Obviously they will be the first to defend it, is this a shocking revelation? Is it equally shocking that most detractors don’t own the card? Are we to assume everyone with a copy just wants to make money and everyone who doesn’t is just salty?

I think the people who are vigorously trying to defend the card aren’t doing a service to their cause. I also think if someone is really not interested in this card because of the ambiguity of its production, they wouldn’t even participate in this thread. There’s so much vitriol over the card. If you like it and believe it’s real, just enjoy the card for what it is. If you don’t like the card or think it’s not real, don’t participate in keeping the discussion about it active.

As for me, I own a copy and at this point I don’t give a fuck if Joe blow the collector believes it’s real or not or if it goes up to $4000 or down to $0.40 since I don’t have any intention of selling my copy.

People already have made up their mind and the truth will never be made perfectly clear. There’s no sense in either side trying to push their narrative about what the card is or isn’t. The biggest irony is that this whole mess is entirely antithetical to the original intention of the card in the first place.

Lol Dude responsible for these cards getting stamped literally came out with a statement thread stating it wasn’t official. It was not Hartford regionals or associated with Hartford regionals. It was an unofficial event that a dude on here put together. Getting something like this ok’d doesn’t make it official, it makes it legal. And I’m guessing that while he cleared up any potential legal problems with holding the event and distributing the stamped cards, there are still legal problems that could arise from you all listing them on eBay as officially stamped cards. Or he would not have stated that there is a problem with you all listing it on eBay as official the way he did in his statement thread…that states they are not official.

I just checked @jungle IP and sure enough it was from a vpn. Here is a comparison of the actual vpn they were using vs an organic ip:

Let’s see, we just discovered interstitium (which is a newly discovered human organ). We’ve landed on Mars. We produced mice using two mothers.
Probably best not to challenge people on getting cards gold stamped cause you could start a flood of people putting in the effort.
It’s best to simply treat these cards in the spirit Charlie intended, which was very honorable, instead of an item to take advantage of others.

ofc it’d be reaper. Someone on CN got banned yesterday for going full-retard about the card as well, and I’m very convinced people are making multiple anonymous/spam accounts to trash the card on youtube. Say what you will about unlisted leaf, but it’s been hilarious seeing his vid get over 75,000 views in under a day with enough upvotes and comments that they cant manage to control the narrative.

Yep. All the same ip and VPN usage. Here is a screen grab from the activity log. We have 1,000 or so guests and varying amount of members that daily check the site. It’s impossible to manage every potential alt in real time.
