I know this will have been milked dry! However I’m still new with PSA, and rather than trawling through ebay sales over and over, I figured I’d ask here.
I hear there are average price brackets for most Charizard original holo print cards so If anyone knows the following please(based on if I wanted to buy one right now, what would be a fair and reasonable price/price bracket please) :-
Base set unlimited(I have one ungraded, its probably a Psa 5 though)
Ungraded NM
Psa 10
Psa 9
Psa 8
Psa 7
Base set 2
Psa 10
Psa 9
Psa 8
Japanese base
Psa 10
Psa 9
Psa 8
Japanese no rarity(no idea on this one but I know there are some fan boys in the hizzle for this shizzle)
Psa 10
psa 9
Japanese reprint 20th anniversary
Ungraded nm/m
Psa 10
Psa 9
Evolutions reprint holo
Psa 10
Psa 9
ungraded
If anyone knows off the top of their head a decent price for each category, that’d be great. Don’t trawl through ebay though, that’s why I made this thread ^.^
I don’t want to over pay or get ripped off, being a newbie with psa.
Thanks for reading! Sorry this is a dry topic I had a search on threads but so many mixed, I figured id consolidate it and we can always post updated prices here as an all in one
Plus post our purchases and how much paid(if you wish to show and divulge)
My name is Gregorius Maximus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the East, General of the Lightening Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Zapdosian. Father to a murdered Pokemon, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next…Piiiikachuuuu I missssss you!!!
I hope you have deep pockets if you want the PSA 10 no rarity charizard! Honestly I would check eBay sold listings you will find the majority of those cards sold on there recently which will give you a good idea of price.
Ha I’m not after all of these just thought id make a Chari thread(number 1million?)
Really I just want some prices, I can add there and keep it updated. Also I did state about ebay If someone posts £20 quid for an ungraded excellent Chari base english is standard bruv, then Ill add it and know.
Its cool if not thought it’d be a nice idea.
When I have time I may look on ebay…prices vary so much though.I figured Id asked the seasoned pro’s for general pricing.
Ill never buy or be able to afford any of the top end Charizards. I just wanted some prices as id like to get a base set Chari non 1st but don’t want to be ripped off.
and rather than trawling through ebay sales over and over, I figured I’d ask here.
Problem is, we’d have to dig through eBay listings to get reasonably accurate prices for you best you do it instead of a bunch of us;) These prices are really changing fast too so the list would have to be kept up.
Fair enough Ill do the digging when I can and edit the post ha! Ill cut it down aswell.
It was a good idea at the time, in theory! Your not the usual bubble popper though
Oh I wasnt looking for a bang on price it was more, base set chari unlimited decent price ungraded £20-30
Ill go back to the drawing board and re think!
Let’s say you had to choose between 3 fair condition charizards on your list or one PSA 9 or PSA 9 quality unl base Charizard. I’d recommend going for the one mint card and continue on like that:)
Those people are just lazy themselves, yet they have the time to tell you to look on eBay. I think your thread is fine. I don’t like it when people tell me to Google and eBay either. We all know how to Google and eBay, but that is not the point.
Base set unlimited(I have one ungraded, its probably a Psa 5 though)
Japanese no rarity(no idea on this one but I know there are some fan boys in the hizzle for this shizzle)
Psa 10
----- $10k+ (no recent sales so it’s whatever that seller is willing to sell/what the auction ends up being — you’d be lucky to find one)
psa 9 ----- $2500 was latest auction price about a month ago
, so I’d say slightly higher price point than a 1st ed PSA 9 English charizard these days.
Japanese reprint 20th anniversary
Ungraded nm/m
Psa 10
---- $20
Psa 9
----- $10
Evolutions reprint holo
Psa 10
---- $275-$325
Psa 9
---- $20-$30
ungraded ----- $10 max, probably can be had for $6 even at NM/M
I gave tough love yesterday, I’ll give it again today.
calling the rest of the people on the forum lazy, especially when some of the most established collectors in the hobby have posted in here, is almost laughable. this website isn’t just a resource for you to use to buy and sell things. we are all people who enjoy the hobby as well. prices also aren’t the most secretive thing when you aren’t talking about private trades and incredibly rare cards. Giving the price to everything you asked (19 different items) is time and work. To re-use @garyis2000 's incredibly valid point, “[the] Problem is, we’d have to dig through eBay listings to get reasonably accurate prices for you best you do it instead of a bunch of us”
I know you mean no offense whatsoever geg, and I see you are newer and becoming active here. just a little reality check because @yz2428 though it suitable to borderline insult all the other people who had given you good input. Even so it is nice that they did go out of their way to try and help you themselves
Well said Fazool and of course you’re right. I figured it was just a kid trolling to criticize lol.
Efour is highly regarded as an informational site. The best in the world. Ofcourse if someone comes on and asks for a price on a card we all try to help. In this case though there were a couple dozen cards that would take an hour or more to research current values. And then there’s 60 of us reading that. So obviously the one person asking can check it out themselves.
I totally get what you are saying but the fallacy of that was said is that he’s looking for help. If you don’t want to give help, don’t respond. This is the very point of these forums: to share what we know.
On a forum, you spend as much time and effort as you want to give and care to. It is not required that you go dig and do research. You can if you want. I don’t mean to offend and I know these are some of the premiere collectors in the hobby, but let’s step back and remember why this forum exists in the first place.
Good points but this is an informational web site and a place to socialize and share collections. The money side is pretty far down the list and not meant to be very public.
