Charizard base and re print holo current prices thread

I’ve avoided this thread but I do want to ask what I think are two questions that really need to be considered here;

1. What do we gain by regurgitating eBay sold listings here?

2. What is the point of this if it is not updated regularly and prices are still going up?

I don’t mean to sound rude so I hope my questions haven’t come across like that, but it seems like a lot of effort to accomplish something that people will refer to eBay for anyway.

I gave tough love yesterday, I’ll give it again today.

calling the rest of the people on the forum lazy, especially when some of the most established collectors in the hobby have posted in here, is almost laughable. this website isn’t just a resource for you to use to buy and sell things. we are all people who enjoy the hobby as well. prices also aren’t the most secretive thing when you aren’t talking about private trades and incredibly rare cards. Giving the price to everything you asked (19 different items) is time and work. To re-use @garyis2000 's incredibly valid point, “[the] Problem is, we’d have to dig through eBay listings to get reasonably accurate prices for you best you do it instead of a bunch of us”

I know you mean no offense whatsoever geg, and I see you are newer and becoming active here. just a little reality check because @yz2428 though it suitable to borderline insult all the other people who had given you good input. Even so it is nice that they did go out of their way to try and help you themselves

I totally get what you are saying but the fallacy of that was said is that he’s looking for help. If you don’t want to give help, don’t respond. This is the very point of these forums: to share what we know.

Gary and Fazool’s points were more of a heads up for someone who might not have recognized the reality of what they were asking for. It was also an explanation as to why that sort of request would be passed over. And to both of those points, making fun of the people who did not feel the need to answer the OPs question - a question which the OP could have found himself (again, Gary and Fazool’s point)- is not fair.

Ultimately, don’t ever be afraid to ask a question; just be aware of the potential work it may take for someone else to come up with an answer for you, and you’ll be fine. Usually someone like YZ will help out anyway, but it’s just nice to be considerate.

Yea I understand I’m best to do it, I wasn’t expecting you guys to do all the work ha! That’s the last thing I meant just if anyone knew one then post it, rather than looking all up.
I didn’t mean to cause a little disturbance, ill look up the prices myself when im free one night.If they seem wrong then I’m sure Ill be told and I can correct

I also added the more expensive elite Charizard holos for fun, as ill never be able to buy myself. However others may be interested, I didn’t fully think it through.

I’m not here to make money, just broaden my knowledge of the hobby and interact with fellow collectors alike:) also to make sure I can try get a fair price for items id like to add to my collection.
