Has anyone saw the listing of the beautiful 1st edition shining celebi on ebay for $400 or MAO? Thoughts? I have zero plans to buy it but it really intrigued me. The sellers account was abrakabralakaza_0 if for some reason it’s hard to find.
It’s not hard to find at all…and it’s $400 for an ungraded card you could get PSA 10 for the same amount. I’m guessing this is your card and you are trying to push it on here? Not understanding this post.

Looks like damage on bottom left corner.
They sell for less than $400 sometimes. I actually offered $130 for it and they didn’t even respond with a counter or anything.
I’m pretty sure they’re expecting PSA 9 value or above, which would be kinda ridiculous for an ungraded card.
Regarding raw cards that are mint worthy, always make sure it’s not recoloured or inked. Check the edges for any bleed (rarely no bleed if done professionally though) but that’s usually where UV/Blacklight/light-check comes in handy.

What blacklight are you using ever since I saw pokesoups video I’ve been thinking about it since I tend to buy cards and hold till I have enough to send in for grading.
I bought mine in similar condition for sub $100 just a month ago

I bought a PSA 10 for $430 recently, not sure why anyone would pay $400 for an ungraded one.
Not sure why there’s a post about a $400 ungraded 1st Ed. Shining Celebi shown in blurry pictures and dark lighting… but if I were the seller (and if the seller or someone who knew the seller were perusing this forum ahem) I’d get the card graded if it’s in good condition.
You and the other guy the keeps saying this is so wrong. I have no idea who the seller is. I literally have posted 2 times in this forum and both times I’ve received rude comments and claims. You’re basically overselling (you call it “beautiful” but acknowledge the damage on it) an overpriced card you claim to have no intention of buying. You also specifically drop the username of the seller too. Also note that there have been plenty of times where people were caught advertising their own listings.
I’m not necessarily agreeing that this is your item or you know the seller, I’m saying that it’s not an unreasonable conclusion given the situation.
Celebi is my favorite Pokémon. I don’t know the value. And it says 400 bucks. I thought it was interesting so I asked what others thought. Some of you think you know it all. I’m sitting here like “none of you are right”. I put the name so people could find it. Big whoop. I don’t own any card close to 400 bucks. I think it was a mistake joining. So far most of you are assholes. Most not all.
And I didn’t notice damage until Gary said not great condition so I went back and looked closer at images. Noticed the left corner. Even msged the seller and he claims there is no damage.
Hmm… that’s all it takes to be labeled an asshole, huh?
