Hi, all! First post here on the message board. Quick back story - had cards when I was younger, got back into the tcg back in 2014, played the tcg semi competitively for 3 years, sold the bulk of my cards trying to afford life stuff - marriage, house, etc. Well, I got back into Pokemon past several months (seems I am not the only one…) now that I have achieved aforementioned focuses (got married, bought a house, etc.).
Anyway, been doing a bit of personal collection, buy/flip, and trying to get familiar with current tcg meta.
This question revolves around expanding a personal collection. I have always been a fan of fishing and thought it would be fun to do a collection with fishermen/women/Pokemon in the artworks.
Aside from the obvious “Fisherman” cards, what other cards have someone (either a person or Pokemon) with a rod and reel. I know there are cards with JUST rods (i.e “Super Rod”), but am specifically interested in the cards that have something else in the artwork besides just a rod.
Thanks! I remember playing with this card some. I figured there might be a couple cards of magikarp and gyarados that may have some fishermen in the artwork. I need to sit down and go through scans for those 2 Pokémon.
Ah, I guess there’s some misunderstanding. I thought you meant fishermen in general. Didn’t know it specifically had to include a fishing pole. But agreed - a great card.
