Can print defect dots still grade well?

As I understand it this will still be counted against the surface grading category. Though I’ve heard CGC is kinder about these things compared to PSA or BGS.

A print dot will not appreciably affect the card grade.

Submitted enough times you will eventually find a grader that will overlook it.

I feel like they do slightly downgrade for hickeys or other errors. They gave me a 9 on this one that looked 10 worthy but has a big dot on the bottom.
