Hi everyone, I purchased several cards like 25 or so, but they’re only one or two per seller. I’m afraid that during the consolidation process, the package will still be big, mostly from the brown letter envelopes the sellers uses. When they add up, it will be heavy despite the fact that the total weight is just around 25 Pokemon cards. Can I ask Buyee to get rid of the envelope the sellers used and just keep the cardboard protection for the cards?
I think Buyee by default now removes the seller’s packaging but keeps anything protecting the item intact (e.g. cardboard sandwiches). But they do always put each order in their big envelopes, which I don’t have any experience asking them to remove (mostly because I like them). Without the envelopes, I’m guessing the cards/cardboard sandwiches will just be loose in the box though, which seems like not a great idea due to them bumping around.
Yes I guess I meant their big envelopes, the thing is if we add the weight and the volume of 50 envelopes the shipping cost as well as the customs will be quite expensive
, I am asking if any one asked them like to put all the cards (with their cardboard) in one or two envelopes before to downsize the shipment
This is 100% accurate. Also the single large manilla envelope for each order doesn’t add too much weight. 50 orders of 1-2 cards should cost like $30-$40 to ship. So pennies on the dollar when considering how expensive ebay is in comparison
