I’m so excited to get it! I’m nervous about its condition though… But I got a pretty sweet deal either way. 
@bluey.:* – Congratulations! Please educate my blissfully ignorant mind: What exactly makes this card the corrected version?
The error version has a Fighting Energy Symbol instead of Fire in the move Roaring Flames.
However, there is still an error on the corrected version. The first “energy” in the move Roaring Flames is supposed to have a capital E not lowercase e.
My $15 score… It’s so beautiful…

Sealed Venusaur #13 Promo. Book is in Near Mint condition. The only semi-major flaw is a crease on the top left corner of the cover. Other than that, the book is just amazing.

I have fond memories of that exact Venusaur card from when I was little. I hid it somewhere in my house a decade ago, I still look for it occasionally . Nice addition

Oh that’s so cool you have that strategy guide! I always wanted to purchase that guide because I knew there was a Venusaur card in it. The problem was that the stores such as Superstore had these guides outside instead of behind the glass with the video games. So unfortunately, all the copies had the card removed from them already.

UPDATE! Please visit the site for some new Base Set “1999-2000” updates!! I still have to put Mewtwo and Clefairy up there. And I still have to get the rest of the non-holos up. Hopefully sometime this week I’ll have that done. It’s almost a complete set. I have 5 holos purchased and on their way then I’ll have a complete set, but I’ll be looking for a replacement for my Machamp since it’s in crappy condition… lol
I’ve also been thinking about grading the holos. Any opinions on this?

I have finally completed my 1999-2000 Base Set! It is gorgeous. Seriously. lol
All cards are beautiful NM/M condition (except for that pesky Machamp…I have 2 more on the way so I still might have one soon! )
I would honestly like to replace Alakazam and Blastoise in the future because they have more wear than any of the other cards, but they’re still NM so I’m happy.
Pictures aren’t working… I will fix later. lol
