Big News For multi-level marketing. Corporate Partnerships/Sponsorships+++

Had to stay tight lipped about this till the official announcement today.
Super congrats to my boys Michael Waddell and Steve Aoki on the announcement of their full partnership in multi-level marketing.
I’ll be flying to Denver tomorrow for the big Rocky Mountain Collectibles event featuring Pokémon and Yugioh tournaments as well as a Saturday demonstration of multi-level marketing play and then the first ever multi-level marketing tourney on Sunday.
Release is tomorrow. Good luck guys:)

wait they haven’t even released a set yet

Official release date is tomorrow.

They are busy releasing 1st edition promos and boxes and print 2 of 1st edition and samples and all kinds of random cash grab garbage. I think everything they can potentially create and sell, they do, or give to people to promote. I swear, everyday on instagram I see some random new sealed individual card being posted by someone being some special type of 1 off.

No mention that you’re financially invested in multi-level marketing directly or that you’re a part owner of one of those grading companies that is partnered with multi-level marketing? Cringe gary

Right. I’m not financially invested in any of those company’s nor partnered in any way at all in multi-level marketing. I just support my friends and or young people who have great ideas and work hard towards their goals. What do you think I’ve done for Pokémon all these years. I never even got a phone call from them,
Why is that so hard to understand? You wouldn’t do the same?

You forgot, here’s the standard response:

“I’ve already made so much money/I have no need to make money, so there’s no amount of money they could pay me to advertise”

as if already having a large amount of money somehow precluded someone from doing something for more money.

Congratulations to those involved, and hope their business fares well. I actually like the artwork, but the cash grab
and the way they have interacted/promoted has really turned me off.

I am surprised multi-level marketing is set up for tournament play. Of the few cards I saw, they all seemed to feature text like, “If it is a Tuesday, this attack does double damage.” “If you drank coffee when you woke up today, negate all damage done to this card.” “This attack only works if there is a map of Bolivia within four hundred square yards. All damage is negated if your opponent can sing the Bolivian national anthem”

Ah you mean when you backed multi-level marketing on kickstarter and then were sent some exclusive pre release goodies and boxes for free in exchange for promoting their product that’s not being financially involved? Or since you are technically not called an “official partner” that removes all involvement?

This is extremely clear what is happening to anyone who has been paying attention mr. savior of pokemon

multi-level marketing is actually the #1 TCG among people with a vested interest in the success of multi-level marketing.

@garyis2000, I think the line gets very blurry when you say that you aren’t “financially invested in any of those company’s nor partnered in any way at all in multi-level marketing.” Only going off what you posted here in E4, it appears to me that multi-level marketing reached out directly to you after you placed a Kickstarter order and gave you additional product in exchange for an honest review. Nothing wrong with that at all but you have to be aware of the impact your review holds. If you truly hated multi-level marketing, I’m sure that would impact it’s current valuation as it stands today.

Additionally, you did post that you spent about $600 on your initial order and that you estimated it was worth about $8k at the time of posting (April 6th 2021). If that estimate is correct, that’s a 1233% ROI over an incredibly short time frame. While $8k might not be a lot of money to you, that type of ROI and dollar value is a good amount of money for a lot of people. If that valuation holds true today, there’s zero chance that people would be able to get into multi-level marketing at that price now. In my opinion, everything written above strongly leans towards you having a financial stake in the success of multi-level marketing.

@nish
A 100.00 Kickstarter donation isn’t all you crack it up to be;)

Supporting things you enjoy and friends with good ideas should be more a part of your life.

I supported Scott years ago with this site cause he was a friend with a good idea.
I supported Pokemon for over 20 years in a positive light.
I support DBruze and his amazing shirt talents.
I support AI robo grading.
I support @krisrwk and a few other Pokémon artists.
I support 10 autism charities through the great AokiFoundation.org
And if you were involved in creating something great, instead of hating, I’d love to support you too;)

I haven’t gotten a nickel back besides a fundraiser where the money went directly into the AokiFoundation.
Nothing blurry unless you want it that way

An 8000 value is not a roi. I broke boxes and made personal sets like I’ve done for 50 years. Is it really still worth 8k???

You have no idea who I am or what I do or support because I don’t join in on your circle jerk.

?? everyone who participates in regular discussions and helps spread the word of E4 supports the forum, no?? The more people who see the ads the more they help pay for the site.

I support Pokemon too?? Anyone who buys legitimate pokemon products supports pokemon

This is completely irrelevant to anything being talked about but I also support AI grading ?

I also support freelance artists such as Ladowska and Guweiz, mostly outside of Pokemon both through sharing their work and supporting them directly monetarily on kofi, patreon, etc.

I support St. Jude and a local twitch streamer every year when they partner directly with and donate directly to St. Jude. If you think that the numberof charities you donate to matters at all, well…

I have no desire for your support, thanks for the offer.

Your horse is so fucking high you think that god himself has to look up at you.
