BGS 10 Black Label Shiny Zard

Watchcount.com can help with some answers but I also like asking the seller directly, and use best judgement on whether or not they’re telling the truth

We can all have opinions on value or what’s the better alternative buy but if there are two or more people willing to pay $10k for one it doesn’t really matter what anyone thinks :man_shrugging:t3:

It will still sell.

i did notice in the last few releases, the cards are coming in with really clean backs. i think it’s near japanese quality. black label will be worth something, since it’s mostly still a unicorn grade, but i agree that these won’t be the last ones we see.

Haha I saw those too :open_mouth:

There was a 13k private offer which if this auction reached I wouldnt be surprised. Thats enough money to buy roughly 70 of these zards and grade them all on a 2 day turnaround with Beckett.

PSA 10 shadowless Charizard or this…?! EASY CHOICE SUCKERS. I’ll be laughing all the way to the bank… and eventually to my Ferrari when I flip this baby in 20 years!

Honesty once the dust settles, $600-$1000.

Ungraded Shiny Charizard’s (Mint condition) will fall to $75.

Give it 1 year that’s my prediction.

Think it could grade a PSA 10?:smirk:

Less! probably a couple months :face_with_tongue:!

I haven’t even chucked out the $60 for a raw copy.

Some trivial information for you pokemon nerds out there regarding this card. I happen to be on the same pokemon break site that the owner of this card also likes frequent. Got to talk to the owner and the BGS guy for a little bit. Anyways, owner of the card sent his card to his buddy that does grading for BGS and he happens to live really close. He just walked it in and went back few days later to pick it up after grading. Even now, at the time of auction, owner does not have card in hand. His buddy that does grading for BGS is still holding on to it, and he also got a shiny zard pulled from the same pokemon break site. Owner of the card lives in Florida and he is dealing with the hurricane thats coming in so that is the reason BGS guy is still holding on to it. He said that he was getting offers for $11k even before he put it up for auction. Anyway, the BGS guy was cool. Since he does grading for BGS, he offered to take a look at my 2 zard to see if I should go BGS or PSA.

So his buddy happened to grade the card for him and it coincidentally happened to get a black label?

If true, I wouldn’t call that “trivial information”.

No, his buddy did not grade it. He just brought it into BGS for him and had them grade it.

Is his buddy employed by BGS as a grader? Or does he submit cards for other people as a 3rd party service (similar to Ludkins for PSA)?

I interpreted the original post as the latter

He told us he runs a service along with his partner that also use to work for BGS and submits cards for people. My fault on the verbage about working for BGS. He did mention that because he use to do grading for BGS, that he still does grading for them when they need help or something. I have the guys name and email if you guys want to verify if BS but not posting in forums. But please don’t get this wrong, my intent wasn’t to crap on the zard or try to cause anyone to question the authenticity of this auction. Sorry for my wording but I was just trying to highlight the crazyness of the zard. The day we were talking, the fact that both these guys got their zards from the same pokemon break site, combined with the fact that I pulled a 2nd zard from my private stock of HF packs, then another dude pulled back to back zards!!! It was an insane night.

Thanks for clarifying!

Yeah, there’s never been any issues with BGS grading new and popular cards highly for publicity, so we’re totally in the clear.
