hey guys i have a beckett 9 dark riachu holo error card. i want to have this card graded by PSA instead. do i need to break open the beckett slap and send my card in the traditional card saver way? or could i just send psa the beckett graded card? this is a first for me lol! thanks!

You can do both. Both companies offer cross grading, but it’s very rare you’re going to end up with a PSA 9. Are you happy with a lesser grade?
Could you show us the card?
If you’re happy with a PSA 7-8, then it doesn’t really matter how you send it in.

im happy with the beckett mint nine. i just thought it has potential for a psa 9 or psa 10. maybe i shouldnt bother eh? thanks
A BGS 9 is extremely unlikely to ever cross to a PSA 10, but it has indeed been done. It may or may not cross to a PSA 9 depending on the subgrades and the actual condition of the card. Many BGS 9.5’s don’t even cross to PSA 10’s though either.
BGS 10 > PSA 10 > BGS 9.5 > PSA 9 > BGS 9 is typically the hierarchy. Every card should easily cross to the grade to it’s right since it is technically a downgrade* but crossing to the left requires that card to be very “solid” at it’s grade. Crossing BGS 9 to PSA 10 would be shifting three places left which would be quite atypical, but it has been done on occasion especially when the centering is an 8 or 8.5 and the other subs are very high.
*downgrade not only in my opinion but more importantly also in the eyes of the market as this is also the value hierarchy found in frequently traded well established cards.
Don’t all Dark Raichu’s have this on them though?

I know it’s a very common error but I’m not sure if all of them are errors. On the Beckett graded card it is labeled as an error
