I have noticed this before, prices of Mewtwo Base set holo’s (Shadowless and Unlimited) are quite low compared to other holo cards in the set. This does not count for the 1st Edition versions.
Were they printed in pre-constructed decks a lot and therefore more available?
Yep. That is exactly it. All the theme deck holos are quite a bit more abundant than their booster box only counterparts.

Also arent theme deck holos damaged at first pull?
Ive pondered about buying ot every psa 10 unlim mewtwo on ebay at times, such a beautiful card.
The shadowless decks tend to not come out in the best of condition because of the way the cards are sealed but im fairly certain that unlimited cards are sealed differently so don’t suffer the same issues.
That explains it, thanks. So Ninetales, Gyarados, Hitmonchan and Mewtwo are “affected”.
