Base Set Error Cards?

Opened up a green wing no country code base set booster box, the packs are unlimited but my question is this: Do I have a higher probability of pulling error cards like Evolution Box Wartortle and No Stage Blastoise out of the box because the box type indicates one of the earliest print runs of unlimited? Wouldn’t that mean errors like that would be less likely to have been corrected? Just curious if that makes any sense/if anyone on here knows more about how those error cards were distributed?

Personally, I would leave those packs sealed.
Odds are that you might pull 1 Blastoise in the box. The odds of that specific blastoise being a error, would be very slim. Not saying its impossible but you will more likely be disappointed. You have less than 1% chance of pulling a blastoise error.

Via booster packs i believe. The error was corrected really quickly early on. If I find more data, I will let you know!

@ptccards,So bulbapedia says there are quite a few out there, which in my head i am thinking" the cards is lot more common" but a pokegym thread comfirmed what I mentioned earlier about the error being printed early on. Maybe someone who knows more about the error can help you get more details here.

But honestly I wouldnt open all the packs to hunt those 2 errors. It might be cheaper to buy them, then to risk opening 36 packs.

Though the Shadowless box with shadowed cards is an early print run it’s not more likely to contain those errors. I’ve pulled a dozen or so of each and all came from blue wing boxes.
