Base set Charizard possible print error?

Hey,

Wondering if anyone has seen this before? It appears to be additional ink that is on the card but hard to tell fully. I don’t believe it is debris or anything that is stuck to the card as I’ve tried gently wiping it away with a soft cloth and it doesn’t budge. Also the card has been sat in the same binder for years and never played. It’s not my card but provenance is it’s owned by the former MD of WOTC UK whose held onto it since he left the company.

I know if it’s a print error it’s not a massive one, similar in my mind to Blastoise red dot, but interesting nonetheless.

It appears to have some additional black ink, probably not sufficient enough to get an error label but kind of cool nonetheless.

Looks like some debris or added white ink that got placed before the color layers. Personally I’d place a premium of $0 on it. But maybe there’s someone out there who is buying Charizords with every single possible variation regardless how small.

Agreed with @pfm. This is debris, additional white ink, or some sort of artifact with the holo layer. Regardless, it’s not worth a premium.

Thanks for the feedback, didn’t really expect it to add any premium was more interested if anyone else had seen a similar error before.
