Autographed/signed Pokémon Products General Thread

I totally agree with you! If I were to buy a personalized signature I would much rather have a persons name written on it than “trainer”

Unfortunately damaged BOTH of these while cracking a year ago and since then have not cracked a card. So beautiful though that it’s impossible to have regrets

Never taken a family photo of all my autos, so here they are. I got all of these signed either in person or through the mail (thanks Yuka Morii!). Sorry for the dim lighting, there aren’t any good places to take photos in my house.

I’m not really into signatures in general (probably not the thread to be admitting that in…) however I did pick up this signed polaroid picture of Shōko Nakagawa a few months ago which some of you will have already seen:

Shōko (AKA Shokotan) has been working on and off with Pokémon since 2006 and is probably most well known in the Pokémon community for being one of the hosts of a Sunday morning Japanese Pokémon show which has been running under various names for the past 10 years.

Shokotan was the Japanese voice actress for Spiky-eared Pichu in the 2009 Advent of Arceus movie and it’s believed that she is the reason Spiky-eared Pichu got its name from (it was originally going to be called White Pichu).

Her signature alone is pretty meaningless to me, but I couldn’t resist the Spiky-eared Pichu drawing which accompanies it.

Would appreciate some help IDing this one. Bought from Yahoo Japan for dirt cheap. Only information was that it was “Signed at a mall event in California”.

First thought would be the author/illustrator Toshihiro Ono, but it doesn’t match up with other illustrations he has signed online. And haven’t the slightest idea what the second signature would be. Ideas? Will be happy no matter what, bought for <30 bucks.

I think it’ll be real interesting to see if cgc can gain traction and start doing some authenticated yellow signature series cards.
Would love me a yellow signature series pikachu

Wow, damn ! Goldy dunsparce (the best card in the meta ^^ in all deck)

Ok, i will ship it to PCA i guess…

Here is my only signed card. I’ve thought about selling, and using part of the money to buy another raw base set charizard for my binder collection, but I don’t even know how to price this lol.

Happy to add this guy to the collection. Hopeful that signings can resume after the Pandemic, but I fear we are a long way away and they will be much fewer and farther between.
