I think you’ll find the Emerald Break packs are unlimited.
Ah yeah, just checked again, seems like the XY6 cards were unlimited. So puzzling… you’d think that this would’ve been the perfect opportunity to release unlimited XY3/4 but they didn’t go that route…
Yeah I don’t think they ever did an unlimited run for XY3 and 4. Shame, but that’s how it is I guess.
1/20/16 Update: PSA 9 Fan Club Eevee / Porygon - And there we have it, my first PSA graded cards! Had been eyeing these for a while on eBay when @swolepoke blew up my spot on The Giant Auction thread; it was then that I thought to myself it’s now or never. Quite happy with the new crown jewels of my collection.
Here they are with my Cynthia and N Nendoroids that I picked up recently as well, so hyped for the Red rerelease soon.

Right now I don’t plan on getting the Magikarp as well (as tempting as it’d be to complete the set) just cause it doesn’t seem worth it to me to get a card which I basically already have a copy of; the main appeal of the Eevee and Porygon to me was that their art is unique and aren’t available anywhere else. But we’ll see… if an opportunity arises where I can get a golden Magikarp for 500 Pokedollars, who’d be able to pass that up?

1/30/16 Update: Pokemon Generation 1/2 Shadowbox - After seeing numerous pictures of shadowboxes posted on here and on the Pokemon Reddit, I decided that I had to make one for myself. Add the fact that the RBY ports to the 3DS that we are getting in the US will be Nintendo eShop only, it just made sense for me to get something tangible.
The shadowbox itself does have a glass front, but I removed it for the photo to reduce glare. Absolutely love the way it turned out, and can’t wait to actually play the games again in a month.

Just for the sake of knowing, what do you use to fasten the cartridges on the actual frame?
-confession bear- I used 3M double sided mounting tape for the cartridges. Probably not the best option, but for the purpose of this display, it got the job done and it’s still removable if need be.
I actually had to get way more creative with the Pikachus as the clip on the back of them made them too thick to fit in the box normally. I ended up having to cut little slots in the backboard of the shadowbox; they are actually clipped on!

Ahh, gotcha. Wasn’t really sure what would be good to use for that, but I guess that does work.

I’m a huge opponent to the digital-only game movement. You’re spot on about there being something unique about that tangible game. Digging through your old games in a box of nostalgic childhood items is an experience I want to have live on.

2/3/16 Update - XY Breakpoint Full Arts - They’re here! Well… most of them anyway. It appears that the seller I bought from forgot to include the Espeon Full Art. 
Was super excited as I was expecting to get the set in one fell swoop on release day but having a missing card certainly puts a damper on things. Contacted the seller already, hopefully I get a replacement.
Also took a walk to Gamestop on this rainy Wednesday afternoon to get myself a code card for Mew in XY/ORAS. Anyone who’s interested should pick one up from their local Gamestop ASAP!

@areestee Too bad with the Espeon man but GOD, those non Mega card look fucking amazing! Even the Megas are really nice looking. Such an amazing set!
2/9/16 Update: Eeveelutions, Pikachu FA - Got my missing FA Espeon today, completing the XY Breakpoint FA set. Also picked up the two regular EXs I needed from Pokekyun, as well as the Pikachu FA for my Pikachu collection. :]
