Oooof! That hurts, but also, what @fourthstartcg said.
No hard feelings. Each to their own.
You came out with a strong rhetorical statement, BUT since you asked, I’ll answer simply.
We appreciate the artist for some reason, enough to have an interest in collecting their subset of the Pokemon hobby. Much in the same way you would collect singer’s autographs. Why do you collect singer autographs?
Here are deeper responses and avenues. Of course, I put my thread at the top:
I’ve been working on this for 20 years. Every unique Mitsuhiro Arita card illustration, and some other items. The binders are mostly chronologic. It’s like a trip through the history of the TCG and my own collecting journey.
I love the consistency in his shading and texture, and his use of odd camera angles and focal lengths to capture motion and grandness in a sc…

I was looking through some of my binder collection the other day, and had an idea for a nice casual thread: A giant thread dedicated to artwork.
I loved browsing the 2017 favorite card thread, and figured this would encourage participation for any collector, brand new or veteran. Any type of art can be shared in this thread: a rare card, common card, post card, poster, anything; its all about appreciating that artwork!
Anyone who is new to the forum or hobby don’t feel shy, there are no wrong …
…and many more.
