I recently sent 3 submissions to PSA on the same day, 2 of them were delivered fine, the other one was refused and is (hopefully) being returned to sender.
I called PSA and their customer service agent told me that if a package is open or wet they will refuse it, so that didn’t help things much as I am now worried as to what the extent of the damage might be.
Did anonye experience the same before? What condition were the cards in by the time they were returned back to you?
Had a package get wet in the winter on a truck (I assume) ripped when tried to move, taped back up, dinged all around and get refused. It was around 600 WOTC cards, I remember the call from the rep telling me, “it doesn’t look good”. Package got lost in the mail on the way back, took over a month to get my hands on it. Luckily I packed everything to make sure it was waterproof and protected the best it could be and all cards came back unharmed (I was afraid of mildew).
You should be okay, as long as you pack the submission safely.
