Anyone else collecting PSA 1st Edition Spanish base set?

I’ve been wondering if there’s any other E4 member going for either the full Spanish 1st Edition Holo set (or the full set).

If so, which cards are you missing? Did you struggle with Machamp too? I’d love to find more collectors going through the same journey.

I recently saw a rare sight on eBay (Nidoking 1st Edition PSA10) up for auction but the seller ended the listing, im unsure if it actually sold outside ebay for an offer or what happened. Maybe someone reading this snagged it!

Regards, Octavio.

I’m either going for Spanish or Chinese as soon as I finish my shadowless set.

How far along are you? Have pics of your cards so far? Would love to see

Im only going for the 1st Ed Holos, got them all but hitmonchan and machamp in either PSA9 or 10 (Got the big 3 in 10).

Got several copies of hitmonchan and machamp at psa at this time, been grading them for years. Best grade i got on both is 9 so far and i cracked those 9s. Would love to grade at least 1 of those in 10 some day haha! Opened over 10 spanish starter theme decks during last few years.

That’s very cool! Are you based out of Argentina? How hard is it to get cards down there?

I have family in South America as well

I live in Argentina, yes. Since the Argentinian community grew a lot during last couple years, getting Spanish 1st Ed. base cards is now kinda hard. And whatever we find is mostly played cards :frowning:

Interesting. How’s the community down there? Are English cards big down there or do they mostly collect Spanish base?

Community wise, it’s bigger than ever, I thought that after Logan Paul and the pandemic the hype was gonna fade but it didn’t happen. Most of the people hate on Spanish cards here and go for either English or Japanese.

Very interesting. I didn’t think Pokémon was popular. Where my family is from all my cousins love dragonball and st sieya

Wondering about this my sellf. I have a 1st edition Spanish Charizard PSA 7.5.
