Anyone collecting funko pops?

I just found out about these funko pops things. I don’t plan on really collecting them, but I saw a few I would like to buy. They have a Scarface (Al Pacino) funko pop, god father, Vincent Vega from pulp fiction. I think they would look cool on display! Anyone else dabble into these funko pops?

They don’t really do anything for me.

Pokémon ones inc, as discussed in thread below.

Not a fan of the lack of detail and lack of articulation. In my eyes the figures seem a little bulky especially when kept in their boxes. For my favorite movies and video games, beautiful posters fullfil my collecting need.

Nope nope.

I have become a big fan recently. Mostly collecting dragon ball and marvel. Would like to collect more, but im limiting myself because i prefer to keep them in the box and that takes up a lot space. What i find nice about them is that they are very easy to display and they represent other hobbies of mine

I have about 20 or so in my home and work offices. Some in box, some not. I think they can be cool to display, and because there are soooo many of them, there is something for everyone. Got some from Smallville, Breaking Bad, Star Wars, WWE and other pop culture stuff I enjoy.

I wouldn’t really call it a collection though and I have no desire to chase any of high value. Nor do I expect any of these to retain value or go up by any significant amount. Just interesting decorations amongst my other figures and collectables.

I do think there is an over saturation of them and there has been for quite some time. You can’t go into a Target - WalMart - Barnes and Noble - San Diego Comic Con - OR ANYWHERE where items are sold, that there isn’t a massive collection of them collecting dust.

I have 5 at the moment. No real desire to collect them in a large quantity, but they make so damn many of them across so many pop culture mediums that I’m bound to grab a few more.

And yes that includes the Pikachu some time eventually

I’ve got a whole bunch as well, maybe 30 or so. None in boxes, don’t expect any to have any value now or ever lol

I have 3 now with this Biggie one I copped yesterday. Peep the Jesus Piethe.

I dont have any and only want The big jine tales kyuubi fox from Naruto.

Not a big fan of funko pops, but I have a lot of respect for them because they are the greatest last resort for fans of a certain series where products are unavailable/took expensive to collect. For example, if you were a big fan of Titanfall near launch dates, your sole option to get a titanfall figure was like to buy the extremely expensive collector’s edition 200$+, or have nothing. Getting a titanfall funko pop was like 15$, so that was great for fans of that game.
