Anyone collect Legos?

I really enjoy collecting legos, I have had to sell some recently. The down side is that the bigger sets take up so much space if you keep them sealed. I have mainly just held on the Star Wars and Simpsons sets.

bingo! the last big set i bought was the Ninjago City Garden - amazing set, but sooo big. I really want the black smith set, the new winnie the pooh set, and many others.
I’ve said I’ll hold off on buying Lego sets for display till I am able to to move into my own place. I’m currently house shopping.
i’ve stuck to collecting cool minifigures at the moment, and that is pretty satisfying as well. and they are not cheap either.

I am excited about the new Harry Potter sets that will be coming out. There are several new Castle sets, similar to the 2018-20 lines where you can connect them up. I have almost all of those 2018-20 sets, but I need space fast! there is one that is going to be $250, so i imagine that one is fairly sizeable.

Yooo, those Simpsons sets are stonking though!

I bought one of the latest set, and I can say I’m more than happy with it:

Lego is so frustrating to me…they are still putting out some great sets and do a lot really well, but they have gone all out crazy woke and that’s just not something I can support. I still have a few things and will probably continue collecting classic sets.

What do you mean by crazy woke?

There are a lot of things modern Lego can be rightfully criticized for, but I did not expect “crazy wokeness” to be one of them. Haha.

Anyway, I got this beautiful Bonsai set from Lego’s “Botanical collection” as a christmas present and I absolutely love it. Couldn’t care less if anyone finds that too ““woke”” or whatever. Had a ton of fun building it and continue to enjoy it as great decorational display piece.

There’s also the option to give it a blooming look, which I haven’t built yet but very much look forward to.

I plan to get the other sets of the botanical collection as well. I think it’s pretty smart of Lego to cater to adults, even if that may continue to only be a relatively small branch of their franchise.

Mostly, fully embracing and promoting (to children) certain sexual ideologies that are completely inappropriate. But they have also embraced this “great reset” idea (see their Rebuild the World campaign and other language in their marketing materials). And virtue signalling about every social idea that regressive leftism requires that they can possibly get their hands on.

You’re opinion = rightTheir opinion = wrong
Therefore LEGO is bad.
Good to know

If you’re talking about their Pride set then I don’t see what’s wrong o.o

Anyway, I recently bought the Gizeh great Pyramid, and even though I haven’t built it yet, I really like the design!

Holy shit, sounds like you’re in too deep already haha. 4chan might be a better place to discuss those issues than e4. Hahaha.

Not just the pride set.

Y’all can think whatever you want. I don’t care.

If you look closely, the flowers are actually Lego frogs!

Good catch! I’ve noticed that, too. One of my favorite aspect in lego sets is when they use pre-existing parts in creative ways to give them a whole new function. I like that a lot more than when they just make new parts. It has more of the good old original “lego spirit”.

That castle is a dream come true! I’m sure I am not alone, but I’ve been waiting over a decade for a classic castle release. Can’t wait to get it!

I need that castle, but damn 400 bones straight from LEGO???
