So, I find myself in the overwhelming position of having a hundred or more late 90s early 2000s into 2010s, built lego sets, in near pristine condition, at my childhood home. I do not want and cannot keep them all. But I’m not sure where to start lmao.
Lots of star wars, the original HP castle, lots of bionicle, some space / mars, etc.

Lego Star Wars has so many good sets out currently, I keep drooling over the dark side millennium falcon every time I go to the store. Can’t bring myself to drop $180 on one though

Sell them on ebay or bricklink, if you really want to get rid of them. They’ll sell quickly.
You know, I’ve resisted making an ebay account for this long, but bricklink is an interesting option. Is the lego resell market pretty healthy? I was honestly thinking of selling to this resale shop near where i live, but i just have no idea what to expect.

I can’t speak for them all, but my local Lego shop was great to work with when I traded in sets. They paid like 50%ish market or 70%ish trade but considering the larger headache they take when verifying pieces and not having to ship it myself, I thought it was worth it.

A decent amount of these sets are worth pretty good money. Do your research; check ebay and bricklink for past prices/what they are selling for to make sure you don’t under-sell. Just eyeballing it, there’s easily a grand of lego here.

Pay careful attention to the mini figs, as someone else pointed out, many can be worth between 25 and 100 bucks alone.
Oh thanks yeah I think I did a pretty good job of keeping all of the minifigs with the sets but it’s possible I’ve lost some
Oh that’s not a problem. You can sell the minifigs seperate from the sets, that’s what many people do, although I will say that sets with all of their mini figs fetch a premium.
