My distributor confirmed about 10 minutes ago that hidden fates tins are having a “limited reprint” and are available to me for September in the US.

I heard so as well regarding reprints in the US. Yesterday, there were a wave of hidden fate tin offerings in Singapore too (followed by a wave of attempted sell-offs for the singles)

The market has absorbed all previous prints and releases pretty quickly while prices continue to spike. You have to wonder how long can that last and how much of this is people just storing mountains of sealed product as investment?
I would expect some retrace at some point, it all just seems very speculative and highly volatile at the moment. Will be interesting to see how much more product this Sept. reprint pumps out and how the 2020 Holiday set will compete with it.

From what I’ve seen/read our 2020 holiday set is going to be stacked. IMO I think it absolutely trounces Hidden Fates seeing how there will allegedly be a gold pikarom, gold reshizard, gold mew3, and a rainbow rare eevee all in the same set.

The reprint I have been waiting for but, the question is will it absolutely hose the hobbies Hidden Fates hoarders or barely be printed who knows. Though I just wanna be able to find them in a store at least to open it up again for fun.
i expect this reprint to sell out fast, some places are already taking preorders and when they do they sell out within a day.
Is there a date change from 2019?
Currently the expectation is that this holiday set with be a mix of the upcoming new Japanese set legendary heartbeat along with the secret rare cards from tag all stars such as the gold cards like reshizard, pika, and the unreleased trainer cards. Info can be found on pokebeach but again, this has not been confirmed but make sense as some of these cards are a year old and still have not been released in English.

A Gold Reshizard - if the pack yield was very low - would do wonders; it’d break the modern game, in a good way ~

I was thinking the same thing, if darkness ablaze wasn’t releasing right before the holiday set I’d probably buy a case of it. Personally, I’d rather save my money and chase after a gold pikarom/reshizard/mew3/lucmetal.

My Walmart recently put out a display of the hidden fates collection boxes. They are like the tins except just come in the standard 4 pack and a promo boxes. I’m not sure if they just pulled them all from the back or if it got a reprint recently. I went back the next day and they were all sold out so I’m glad I picked up two boxes

No way am I getting Darkness Ablaze now after that - I mean seriously those TAG All Stars cards are insane! Even if Darkness Ablaze has a lower pack-opening rate for VMAX Charizard (which I doubt), the cards you listed there have a texture and iconography advantage, which we seldom ever get in the English versions. And the bonus is if those Gold cards have a low rate of attainment ~
Didn’t it get confirmed that the holiday set would include the cards from Legendary Heartbeat? Kinda makes it harder to consider All Stars showing up there.

When will the official set list for Darkness Ablaze drop/leak? It seems we are like 2 sets behind Japan now and trying to figure and solve the cards we will get. Maybe this happens every year?
