I’d imagine either soon, or never. The reason for so much Shining Legends on the market/still on the market wasn’t tons of reprint waves, but rather a ton of overprinted inventory sitting in distributors/Pokemon’s warehouses.

Hidden Fates currently has none of those things. That, with another holiday set on the horizon, and no indication of another print run, I wouldn’t be surprised if we’ve seen the last of this historical set.

If you think one of the biggest media franchises ever is going to completely not reprint one of their most popular and heavily sought out sets which only saw its release as of last September and sells out within minutes upon a restock, youd probably be mistaken in the long run.

Only time will tell, but yeah money printer goo brrr and all that jazz. Could we see less of a supply? Sure. But i dont for once think it will be halted completely after this one either.

I think only time will tell, for sure. A lot of popular sets or promos arent reprinted so, only time will tell. A huge gamble for those “”“”“”“investors”“”“”“”.

Ive had a restock alert for Hidden Fates via Target.com for the past week and if I don’t check out within 5 minutes they sell out of everything instantly.

The demand is still clearly there, why they wouldn’t reprint is beyond me.

It’ll be very interesting if they don’t do another reprint and will set the tide for the next hype set without a doubt.

I guess i would think about it like this:

Has the market demand been satisfied even with the re-supply? It doesn’t appear to be.

Has the community already accepted that this set has been opened for re-print? Yes, so there wouldn’t be any backlash from the community over any further re-supply (by and large).

Is it still profitable for the company? Yes.

Then while the tap is already running, don’t be suprised if they decide to fill more than one bucket.

Would anyone mind if they made a hidden dates 2? Another set with new shinies? I’d be okay if they had a few smaller batch reprints but I’d like to see this hidden fates continued like modern masters/masters series in MTG.

Every 18-24 months they could do a set this this and it would sell out. There would still be demand and value for previous sets.

I wonder how much of the current demand is “inorganic” and driven by flippers loading up on massive quantities as soon as they’re restocked. If none of this is opened and just sits on the market, when it’s reprinted again we may see severely lower demand.

I’ve gotten 6 of them since signing up for notifications and every time the link loads it says they are out of stock. A couple things could be happening, one a person could have some program set up to auto buy them and they disappear faster than any human can buy them, or target system is messed up and they aren’t in stock and im getting bogus alerts.
