It’s so ugly! (Mainly the deckbox, which is the main draw for me. Pikachu in a athletic jacket is very uninspired.) At least I get to save some $$ this year.
Need visual of new staff promo
Come onnnnnnn varsity jacket, come onnnnnnnn
I’d like that binder!
Got an email to register for spectator badge for worlds but too bad its the last day (sunday), so by the time i get there, pokemon center will be sold out of all the good stuff. Not sure what else to do at the con besides walk around the differetn sections(i dont watch or understand the actual game)
Same…also sad for me that the rest of my party is the whole weekend so I’m not sure what to do during the other two days besides borrow passes. Happened to me on last worlds as well. Speaking of though, Sunday has not necessarily been a bad pokemon center day for me at the past two worlds. That was the day they lifted limits / put out whatever inventory they had left - if anything Saturday was the worse day. Sure some things were sold out if they did not anticipate selling out by then but you probably have a higher chance of missing out on items on Saturday than Sunday. But I suspect with the current craze compared to back then, the limits will be stricter (and they confirmed had limits of amounts they could put out per day.) I usually found at least one thing new on each of the days that was not available during my timeslot on the previous day.
ok thank you, good to hear. I just signed up for a slot sunday for pokemon center after selecting spectator as an option. (just became available today via pokebeach). Hoping to get a backpack!
So pumped! This is going to be my first worlds. I will be a spectator with by wife and brother. I figure the answer is probably no, but does anyone know if its possible for spectators to earn the Paradise Resort promo, or is that just going to be for competitors?
I unfortunately only found out last day at last year worlds so did not have enough time to plan to earn enough points..but you could pay to participate in the various opens to earn points towards the prize shop which had the promo amongst other things
Hopefully someone with more experience in the competitive stuff can chime in but from just sending my brother for Pokemon Go to test it out, getting 1st or 2nd place in the open tournament you sign up for was pretty good amount of points. So if you don’t mind bullying kids / are decent at the respective game it’s probably going to cost a few hours and over a $100 to accumulate enough points? There was also a trade room where plenty of people are “selling” their promos.
Oh interesting! I may have to fight with what remains of my ethics to beat those kids for those points

Might be my favourite art since 2019 DC. The little guys riding on Revavroom going to a drive-in movie is perfect for the theming.
