I donāt want to create a panic, but the hotel I was looking at a couple days ago increased by $50 a night. Just letting anyone know who is still shopping around.
Rooms are flying off the shelves. Book fast or donāt book. Take advantage of cancellation windows later if you have to. This is not the time to screw around. There is extreme demand for these hotels and they are not going to get better. I give it two weeks before everything under $400/night is completely gone.
Is anyone else waiting it out for a while and just planning on booking something within a 5-15 minute drive? (I guess even up to 30 if necessary). I mean looking at hotels.com and booking.com I do see and understand the urgency with everything within 1 mile especially or even out to 5 miles away. They really are booking quick and the price is shooting up. I just really doubt everything can dry up in a 10-20 mile radius.
I guess Iām not sure how bad of an idea that really is but my hands are a bit tied. I wonāt know until about a month before hand at best for sure if I can actually make it or not now. I guess my only option would be to pay the extra $50 per night putting me at $300-$350 per night which is a fair bit over what Iād like to pay and then just cancel if I canāt make it. Another problem with that is I am not entirely sure for how many nights I would be able to go.
Iām likely going to have to standby until late July and make my decision then. Is all hope lost?
Will the hotels like the Ritz or the Renaissance be filling up or can I wait until May to book? This will be my first time going and I donāt how many people are going. (Basically, I am just pretty confused some of the posts above)
