Did anybody notice the 1999 Pokemon Japanese Promo Tropical Mega Battle Tropical Wind Trophy Card PSA 9 listed on Ebay in the UK the other day? The listing was up for about 2 days with a starting bid of £99.00. Crept up to about £120 then the listing was pulled.

I didn’t take a screenshot of it but from the listing details it looks like it was put up for auction by a company up North in the UK that deals with house clearance.

Just curious if this was a con or they didn’t know exactly what they had and thought this may bring us some money. It was odd though. New ebay account created and had only one star rating.

It was a stolen image. The card is owned by www.instagram.com/onlycollectables and I think the eBay seller got banned.

I did look up PSA Certification Verification number and thought something was really fishy about this.

From the ebay listing I got their business details which shows they are not that smart. Scammers will do anything won’t they!
