Does it not? That’s probably why I couldn’t find them. I started playing again that set and I’ve been trying to find one lmao. I appreciate you saving me a lot of time.[/quote][/div]
Unfortunately not. Don’t know why but they did that with a few 5ds sets - TDGS, CSOC, ANPR, SOVR
as some noted - one of the biggest cards with the best story behind it is the correct art dark paladin. If you are actively trying to add this card to your portfolio please pm me.
I believe other big cards are - in no particular order. Just basing it off of iconic - high demand cards:
something related to 1st print or 2nd print for lob. I don’t who started the war on which one was first.
some collector will ask you if your blue eyes glossy print or wavy print on the holo.
Here my glossy polymerization and wavy dark hole as example
It’s a variation of the card stock in LOB. There were two different types used during production (wavy & glossy). No one knows exactly why this was the case. At first, people thought wavy was the “first” print, but now that’s been shown by a few individuals that it’s probably not the case. It probably came around the same time or after glossy. People like to draw a parallel to thick vs thin stamps in Pokemon’s 1st edition base set. I don’t quite agree with this but I’ve seen it as the widely accepted comparison in multiple threads now.
Value-wise, wavy carries a premium over glossy. One reason is because wavy is objectively rarer. There are 85 PSA 10 1st edition BEWDs, and it’s been estimated that less than 20 are wavy. Subjectively, some people may say that wavy has a more “vintage” feel to it and that’s why they’re preferred. Hope this was clear!
Here’s the first part. As I dig through more I’ve found a couple other bits to go into the collection:
Exodia I thought was just an unlimited; but it’s from the game (DDS-03)
I have a lot of the starter cards: BEWD (SDK), DM (SDY)
Faded - I have an unlimited Seven Tools of the Bandit that is just incredibly faded
Wavy - Tri-Horned Dragon and Exodia Limbs
Random Question: Does anyone know why Rise of Destiny booster boxes are so cheap compared to all of the other boxes of its time? Were they reprinted or something?
