Actually there has been documentation leading to the it being the 2nd printing of the set. Just because most people believe something to be true, doesnt make it so. It should be considered the more scarce one because they is fact. But it is a stupid variance imo.
^ stardust 1st ed ghost rare psa 10 not a bad chase card. gx era booster hobby boxs, og era 1st ed boxes. ultimate rares, ghost rares. theres alot of awesome cards in yugioh but as i found out you have to dig a little deeper to find which ones are the hits.
Dark Magician Girl MFC
GBI- 001 Slifer the sky dragon-----GBI-002 Obelisk the Tormentor—GBI-003The Winged Dragon of Ra
1st ed LOB Exodia set
Corrected Art 1st Ed Dark Paladin
Ghost rares
Don’t really have a strong 5th in mind for this… kind of a tie between several things. Maybe mrd 1st box, mfc 1st, or tdgs 1st boxes?
There is also a world of prize cards in yugioh with the Japanese releases being then rarest with some 1 of 1s but a lot of them are in the same range. It’s mostly what you like for those but it tends to be just a few people chasing them unless they’re used in the game competitively.
Definitely go for what you like first and foremost. What everyone has said is definitely some of the best options out there. Personally, I would own a PSA 10 Jinzo PSV 1st Ed before all of the aforementioned cards in this thread. I think it’s the coolest old school card out there.
I would recommend the Legendary Collections for YuGiOh in general value wise - oopening the #2 gameboard edition was such a kick of nostalgia as a GX era kid, that’s what it must feel like for the Pokemon OG’s to open WotC packs, or in that regard, Evolutions.
Investment-wise, I’d recommend the GX era hobby boxes and ultimate rare cover cards. Unlimited and 1st are both good investments, but always go for 1st if possible. These boxes/cards are undervalued compared to DDS/LOB/MFC. Mint ultimate cover cards especially rarely ever pop up these days. Ghost rares are good as well, but these cards have shot up recently and are usually scratched/played.
FYI TDGS does not have 1st ed boxes. Only way to get first ed packs of that is from tins or prerelease kits (which i doubt exist at this point)

Does it not? That’s probably why I couldn’t find them. I started playing again that set and I’ve been trying to find one lmao. I appreciate you saving me a lot of time.
