Pokemon Blue was my first game so of course Squirtle will have a special place in my heart. However, I also asked my parents to get Pokemon Red so I could catch my very own…
When Growlithe appeared in the anime it brought a whole new character to life. It’s a Pokemon that I could most relate to. I’ve always had dogs throughout my life it’s a species most like my own pets. As mundane as that is.
I also adore Dratini and Dragonair I think because in the games it’s quite rare, not something you’re just going to bump into in the wild unless you know where to fish…or where to buy 
I wish they both appeared in the original anime when I was growing up instead of being in a banned episode and having to find it online years later. I never got to see them aired on tv and seeing how they acted, their mannerisms and nature. On the other hand, maybe that’s an allure to how rare they are since I never seen them.

other than that the favourites are at least now zapdos, dragonite, kabutops and nido family, also i’ve started to appreciate aerodactyl, victreebel and tentacruel a lot more lately
