They always arrive here in China 1-2 days after release. I’ll just go and pick a box up. I’m on a run of getting the cards I want with one box…but I don’t know what I want here. First off - never heard of Hoopa until I saw this thread. Sneaking new Pokemanz in now are they?

Hoopa is a Generation 6 Legendary Pokemon that hasn’t been officially released yet, but has been known about since X/Y came out.

It’s getting a TCG Set because the next Pokemon movie(which are still surprisingly popular) is based around Hoopa and it’s Unbound Form.

Whoa, what’s the new ancient trait?? Looks like something to do with Theta. Very very interesting, as it seems this mechanic will go beyond the norms: Alpha Sapphire, Omega Ruby, Delta Stream (M-Ray ability). Nothing has been done with theta in the video games.

Well, that’s useless.

Definitely not useless. Sleep especially can totally ruin your game if you get unlucky with flips.
Having said that, an ability can sometimes make a Pokemon useful on it’s own. Unfortunately that isn’t one of them.

@milhouse The only real status conditions that are big in the TCG are Poison/Sleep from Hypnotoxic Laser paired with Virbank City Gym. Because those conditions are from a Trainer card, Theta Stop doesn’t work. It isn’t on the same level as Alpha Growth, Omega Barrage, and Delta Evolution.

Emboar is one of my favourite Generation 5 Pokemon, and the only Pokemon to ever make me stray from my die-hard Water starter ways, so I was just dissapointed it won’t be getting a Full Art card.

I seriously hope not every EX is based on legendary Pokemons appearing on latest movie. :blush:

* fingers crossed for Gyarados/Tyranitar/Alakazam EX with at least one Mega evolution *
