It might be easier selling it for $4000 and buying a couple of 1st ed holos with the money, but maybe someone on here as a few spare they might trade.
Heads up he values his LC box at 7.5k
This is in AUD though

A box sold couple weeks ago for $3628 US on ebay.
He needs to be way more realistic with his expectations.

True that. Let’s hope the lad revises his opinion on the value of the box as well.
How much is a Skyridge box worth? That looks like an awful deal tbh… I understand why he wants 7.5k for the box.
Edit: 4350$ Yikes… Then again there might have been something wrong with the Zard and I don’t know how much he paid but he could have resold it for more than the $8000 both boxes are worth.
I’m just saying people should keep their wits about things always in pokemon. There’s alot of scammers.
The guy might be good / ok. But at least build some rapport first with people, maybe get some watermarked images of items for trade. Which I’m sure they would be willing to do.

Just some general advice; everyone (especially young / new collectors should know) you should always be weary of anyone on ebay with low feedback
Anyone on forum with only a few posts.
And anyone on facebook with a small number of friends, and new account joining dates.
And anyone who wont watermark with a timestamp / date / name an item.
Also anyone not providing psa serial numbers.

Agreed. That’s why I advised him to sell the box and buy whichever cards he wants with the money. He can even come back here with a buy list if he wishes to do so.
There’s 0 protection in a trade unless a middleman is used.
I swear we need our own poke currency on this forum.

Yeah $5900. And with one listed for $4200 and recently sold for $3500ish gonna be a very tough sell imo.
