One things for sure, you can’t underestimate these low pop Neo cards. I recently sold the Smeargle for $8400, wouldn’t be surprised if the Houndour were to sell close to that.

Smeargle is a Pop 18 and Houndour is a Pop 21 . . . Houndour is also more popular and a public copy hasn’t sold in over a year. Personally, I think your assessment is probably accurate. Who knows though, it’s hard to stamp a value onto an item that only comes to market once every year or two.

@admiral, There is one very significant variable though . . . the current market. Most PSA 10’s in the set were a fraction of the cost then, in fact, 9’s were under $50. You can’t realistically expect previous sold prices from 15 months ago to be comparable in today’s market. If anything comparing it to cards that have sold like Yanma ($15,400), Umbreon ($10,100), Espeon ($6,600), and Smeargle ($8,400) would be a better comparison. Again though, without any actually data points, this is all speculation.

I have removed the previous discussion. Providing price information to help the OP is fine. Ridiculing them because they are not 1000% in tune with the market or because you dislike the way they post a buy thread is not. Engaging in name-calling and insults instead of reporting posts to the mods is also unacceptable.

My post was also deleted, though I didn’t engage in name calling. I think it’s important for people to understand WHY ridiculing people about their starting asking price (when they say they are willing to pay more and want to open a dialogue with owners willing to sell) is against e4 TOS. People should not need to offer ATH pricepoints to ask the community if they are willing to sell a card. They will gauge interest in sales organically and price bump when owners don’t respond or if an owner replies with what he/she is willing to sell for. It’s toxic, sheer entitlement when these constantly get derailed and instead of mods calling people out on it, they delete the posts or lock the threads. The bad behavior won’t stop until people understand why it’s a problem and why they should stop doing it.

I’ve gone through this exact topic with you I don’t know how many times. If you have questions in the future please PM me instead of just posting again and again in these threads. And if I remove a post I also need to remove all the posts that engage with it, that’s just how a forum works
I don’t even feel like I can answer this because I’ve already done everything you supposedly want me to. I removed offending posts that went beyond providing price help and went into unnecessary ridicule. I posted a clear warning in this thread noting what behavior was not okay.

Just a note guys a Pop 12 Yanma recently sold on auction at under 11270 USD, the price can vary widely for the low pops, but my view is that they have come down since Lugia came down.
Around October-ish the same Pop 12 Yanma sold at 15,400 USD.
