What exactly are you looking for on base set 1st? All the non holos? Non holos+ holos?

It has been a long term goal of mine since I (re)started collecting to open one of every sets box myself. Most of my collection consists only of cards that I have personally pack pulled myself except a lot of the base 1st set.
Main target is essentially a PSA Mint 9 set of every holo ever released in booster boxes along with pack fresh binder sets for the c/u/non holo rare. But for base 1st even though I have a complete PSA 9 set 1-102 I would like to have it completed with mostly my own pulls as all my other sets are.
Damn thatâs an expensive goal. Best of luck.

Thankfully with WOTC sets for some reason in 2015/2016 the box prices were really cheap compared to what you could get just cracking them completely and selling the PSA 10 holos along with C/U/R sets. Many boxes I would hit just a few 10âs that were worth enough along with the bulk for near break even on a box. Box prices are shooting up now and many PSA 10 prices coming down since so many people did this same thing, so it doesnât seem like it could be as easily profitable now and is more of a gamble.
Luckily I was one doing it when it was and so assembled most of the WOTC sets already in PSA 9. Having cracked all boxes but the few I have buy offers on, I am already well along in my goal of having near complete sets for many in pack fresh condition pulled by myself. I am slowly working on a needs list for individual cards set by set, but that is taking some time. I definitely make it a bit easier on myself not collecting reverse holos or variants of any kind really.
Fairly significant update and likely my last one. Was able to grab a Korean 1st box on eBay for under my ask price as well as a Portuguese 1st one that I hadnât realized I was missing thanks to @xziniâs post in the GAT. Only 3 boxes left and they have been floating around eBay just above my price range. I will probably end up buying them over there for too much money in the coming weeks just to be complete, so if someone here can save me from myslelf I will gladly pay the following:

Again that is for crap condition boxes as long as the cards inside shouldnât be too bad or at least a fair portion of them are fully intact. Broken seal boxes are fine too if all 36 packs are from the box. The Korean 1st box was damaged and I got it for $1350 on eBay when my offer here was $1500. I think these offers are fair for rougher condition boxes, but message me with photos and a counteroffer even if you have a mint box. Like I said I will probably be paying full eBay retail over the next few weeks if I canât find anything through here just to get to completion.
