Not trying to speak for Scott, but I think the e4 name would be fine.

The word “Pokemon” or any likenesses of any species of “Pokemon” on the tags I imagine would be a no-no though. I see someone mentioned above wanting a Diglett on theirs and unfortunately I think this would be an issue because that is a trademarked/copyrighted image and even though these would be for personal use it just wouldn’t be good to wear “custom” designed apparel outfitted in Pokemon IP at one of their events. Especially when tying them to this forum which moved away from UPCCC for those exact legal reasons.

Generally Pokemon are okay with people wearing “custom” items, they turn a blind eye to all of the pro teams who use things in their logos, they just make them change if they are going to be on the official stream.

I do think we should keep the badges consistent though, so everyone has the same information and the same image on theirs, both for ease of spotting each other and to not make a huge amount of work for whoever is offering to make them.

I think we have the general same consensus. I will create a few designs and post a separate thread so the community can vote on it. I’ll keep that E4 logo and leave out anything else even remotely related in an official capacity to pokemon.

When you guys have a design figured out we can sticky a thread for anyone interested to leave their details.

If your wife is coming we can do hers too…or anybody’s spouse as long as they make an E4 acct/username.
