So in the Japanese set EX Battle Boost (Exバトルブースト), there was an error with the Tsareena card as seen below.
Pokemon released a apology statement: (translated from the text on their website)
" The Set: ‘EX Battle Boost High Class Pack’ that was released on October 20th, 2017 has seen an error with one of its cards. We would like to apologize for the problems that were caused with this, and that may arise from this. With this, we will strengthen the quality control of our products and we ask for your understanding. "
The thing is, why can’t the US be like this? I have seen cards in absolute SHITE condition straight out of a pack. Why is quality control in the English release so low? is it because of the mass production of the products that quality control isn’t a proper factor anymore?
Hahaha wow, an apology statement written for a numbering error? If this was Late 90s-early 2000s WOTC would have been issuing one every couple weeks. Japan always had better quality control and printing since day one…better holo effects, richer colors etc…it comes down to one thing: Media Factory.
