If I was travelling around staying outside etc I would go with magcargo. You always have a fire near you, can set anything threatening on fire easily and apparently it’s so hot it makes rain turn to steam so I’d always stay dry too!

Overall arcanine, as for legendary I’d pick mew I think a lot of people forget how he can use transform and turn into other pokemon like it does in the lucario movie which would be dope (Yes ditto can transform as well but after seeing ditto in detective Pikachu I would hate to have one as a companion)
