Whats your most recent sale?

For guys and girls who sell cards. Whats your most recent sale?
I just had my first eBay bin sale for 199€ on a Sky’s Rayquaza psa 10. I bought it quite cheap some time ago. Feels good man. I’m looking to get into the selling side of pokemon so this is a nice moment for me

Not a card but I’ve been selling Pokemon Gameboy/Advance games for a few months. I fix the games that have dead internal batteries by soldering off the old one and soldering a new one in so the GB games can save or in the case of R/S/E they can perform time based events like growing berries. It’s fun because I can combine my love for Pokemon with my IT know-how to make a little side money.

My first sale was to a member of this community! GengarBrigade! I sent him a raw Gold Poker deck Gengar right out of my BGS submission. There’s also a Jolteon with his name on it when they come back from grading!
Thanks bud

I’m gonna miss him :slightly_frowning_face: but he didn’t fit with my collection and isn’t part of my goals, so I had to say goodbye. Maybe I’ll buy him back one day

I may have to send you my emerald then, if the battery is replaced will I still have my save file?

Yes! The only thing the battery does for the GBA games are time functions. I think for the GB games the battery powers the part of the board that retains save data which isn’t the case with R/S/E. I’ve also replaced several batteries for gen 3 and it’s retained the save every time.

Oh cool! I’ll send you a message

Sold my PSA 7 Gold Star Mewtwo for $950 a couple weeks ago. Getting away from English cards outside of a few favorites and mostly going to focus on Japanese promos/prize cards and a few set cards that I like.

A German unlimited Dark Arbok for €7.
The buyer left me the sweetest message.
“I hope the money gets to you quickly so you can buy yourself some nice things, too. Thank you and stay safe.”

Really brightened up my day, hehe

The big day came and I sold my PSA 6 1st base lizard. Big sale, 8k cash. Did it locally with a police eye witness, who, funnily enough, requested to be present and see the card when I called to ask about going to the precinct.

Why? Because he was a self-proclaimed Pokemon fan who knew what shadowless cards were and claimed his 1st ed collection was stolen from his garage 10 years prior, which he “never stopped missing”. Seeing the zard brought a big grin to his face. Naturally he was also appalled at the price.

I sold a master battle set pikachu psa 10 and a charizard xy276 promo psa 10 via auction last night. I profitted on both sales but I feel I lost some potential bidding activity due to offering expensive DHL express shipping as the primary shipping option. Maybe offering free or discounted shipping would have been a better option. Live and learn.
