I have recently become obsessed with mid-era reverse holos. These two cards from ex Hidden Legends are my favourite so far.
The fact Minun is 67/101 and Plusle is 69/101 is the cherry on top

Such a great set, congrats. You mentioned not doing the expensive 2005 which I assume you mean the Gold medal, would it be awkward if I said there’s also a 2005 Silver…

I was so obsessed with the ones I knew about that I must have overlooked it! I’m always happy to be educated. It seems like the 2005 does not have the black star and has no set symbol at the bottom right. The silver at least doesn’t seem to be crazy expensive in comparison to the gold.

Congratulations on these cards. They are really lovely and look amazing displayed like this. I actually assumed when you mentioned missing one, that you were only talking about the Silver medals. So yes, you are correct, 2005 silver medal is the no Promo stamp and also no Trainer on the top right of the card. The Gold one..well you already know about it. Looking forward to your next update.

This one was an auction that really went under the radar. Prior to this, the last PSA 9 went for $2K. The front and centering is one of the cleanest I had seen, even moreso than a lot of the PSA 9’s. There’s none higher in CGC and just 8 PSA 10. Needless to say I was ecstatic closing under $500.

Awesome pickup! Just fyi this is a pretty typical discount when you compare the price of CGC cards to PSA cards in the same grade. They are a great lower cost alternative to PSA!

Right, I figured 50-60% of the PSA 9 value - which would’ve been $1000-$1200 and landed on $456 lol. I’m cool with it

Chipping away at my adv/pcg holos.
The two SARs were just under 20 bucks each. I think it’s a testament of how good the art is because I have no attachment to either character and haven’t played their respective games, but the cards were just too nice not to pick up

Bought the first one. Wanted a 10, but since it is (for now) for personal collection, I couldn´t justify paying 5K (or more) when a 9 is only 400.

Not sure if you’re a PSA-only guy, but I have the only CGC 10 1ST Edition up on eBay right now for a reasonable price. It is BIN at 750 but I would cut you some slack.
