Came from a card show on the other side of the city. Small but nice haul!
I’ve been looking for the Pikachu for my Shining Legends grandmaster+ set. I only need the other 3 variants now (Water Web Holo, Cracked Ice Holo, Reverse Holo) to complete the Pikachu cards of the set!
I picked up the Archaludon for my work-in-progress Toshinao Aoki page! I got the Squirtle reverse also by the same artist because might as well.
I really love the Galarian Slowpoke promo. Cards which include other Pokemon in their artwork are some of my favorites.
And last but not least, I got this Growlithe reverse from Aquapolis! Not that flashy of a card but I got it at quite a steal! About $8.50 in my currency. The vendors probably mislabeled it. 
It sits right next to my Umbreon McDonald’s promo. I’ve actually had this page in mind of cards featuring Pokemon sitting on rooftops! I’m now on the lookout for Abra #49 from Team Rocket, but if anymore cards come to mind which fit within the theme, feel free to shoot me a reply!
Overall, good day. I’m going to another show tomorrow which is much closer to where I live. Hope I find some more desirables!

I went to a VGC tournament today, last minute decisions and ended up top cutting and making top 3 or 4,. (I think i got 4th cause the other guy had a higher opp win %)
Because of that i decided to buy the main pokemon of my team, archaludon with the store credit i got

Hey guys. Came back from the other card show I mentioned yesterday. Huge acquisitions and big trades today!
I finally found the three Aoki cards I talked in-depth about in this thread! Though the Dark Magcargo is a placeholder for now while I scour for the first edition.
I got the NM Mewtwo EX 163 in a partial trade for my LP Primal Kyogre EX 149 with a bit of cash on top. I’m one more step towards completing the gold page in my main binder (All I need is Mewtwo EX 164):
The LP Pikachu HGSS03, NM Flareon EX RC28, and the LP Southern Islands Mew 1 I got from a direct trade for my MP Japanese M Gengar EX 034, HP/DMG (it was up for debate lol) Team Aqua’s Kyogre EX, and NM Lacy 172. Here’s a picture of the trade:

Overall a pretty good trade I’d say! The Mew’s even got a double swirl:

I actually already have copies of the Mew and Flareon. I hope to trade or sell these off in order to put it towards more cards on my wish list, as these cards are quite popular in my area.

Not sure how many were released in late 90’s but still hard to beat even with todays Tech n Software - CoroCoro Comics Poster Sets late 90’s early 2000’s I see on eBay there were Gen 2 made as well not pictured here. I’m not sure how many were made in total.

Picked up a Brock’s Gym (Nivi City Gym) deck in pristine condition at a convention in my home town (Newcastle) last weekend and am still stunned that I stumbled across it and picked it up so cheap. Also treated myself to the Mewtwo Carddass prism as I’ve had my eye on one for a while and I love the weird artwork.
The gym deck came with the coin and all the booklets too, which had some crazy artwork inside:
