I went to my first ever card show today, I was hoping to spot a grand party trainer but no luck. However while scouting for japanese promos in general i did find these beautiful PPP promos that i scooped up straight away. A good day all in all

Started collecting more actively at the start of the year. This is probably the most active I’ve been since I got back into the hobby in 2019. Technically some of these aren’t super recent but I figured why not just throw a quick recap of some of my purchases.
These are my most recent purchases from a Bookoff in Kanazawa. They’re all in mint condition besides the Reshiram. Was pretty surprised.
Been grabbing graded Chinese GX alt arts here and there. Thinking of going for the master set, but even the more popular ones in Chinese are getting pretty pricey! Might just finish off the rest with raw copies.
Random XY graded full arts.
Up until this year, I didn’t own a single card from the Sword and Shield era and beyond. Not sure why. There are a lot of incredible artworks.
Random upgraded pick ups that were sitting on my desk.
And to finish off this post, this CCIC graded Milotic. Honestly not sure what it would cross to, probably a PSA 8 or 9 is my guess, but I actually quite like this slab so I’ll most likely keep it as is. There are more recent purchases, but my collection is kind of scattered all over the place so I’ll leave it at these for now.
There is a lot of negativity in the hobby right now, but I’ve personally had a lot of fun and positive eexperiences so far this year. I hope you all are also having good experiences recently as well!

Congratulations! I have a copy of this card myself and getting the holo to display can be a chore. Yours looks very vibrant and prominent. Is this a mislabeled/unrecognized double holo error?

Did you go to CaC Atlanta today? I saw a grand party trainer slab if you did go. Im sure youll find it in the overwhelming sea of card vendors.

Unfortunately not! I live in the UK, it was a small local card show (around 45 tables) - the first i have seen close to home so thought i would give it a try. Thanks I’m sure i will get one eventually.

Just grabbed 2 pricey cards that already have a bazillion copies out there, but hey, they’re pretty nice!
Sorry for fueling the FOMO, but since the Van Gogh Pika have skyrocketed and never stops, I preferred to secure this one now. Please don’t hate me 
I also picked up this card, which I think is really amazing. Before this one, I didn’t really like any Genera cards, but I feel like they finally released one that shows him the way I imagine him! Even if technically it’s a Pikachu card
