Was it packaged properly, or just sealed in a bubble mailer? I’ve received several lately that were just the latter, and honestly, if it’s in only a bubble mailer, and no further protection, it’s not USPS’ fault.
Regardless, such a shame. Great card otherwise!

I recently got a copy of blue and a gba sp, (I never played the games as a kid so this is actually my first time playing official gen 1) it’s a lot more fun than I expected it to be but also has a lot more differences from later gens than I expected which in a way I think adds to the fun
(Also I underestimated the power of Kadabra I thought people were being dramatic but now I understand)

very pleased with two pickups from a local card show yesterday:
a fairly beat up empty japanese base booster box for $40 - the artwork is simply stunning & i love having empty boxes for display
and a sealed toxicroak g promo with the accompanying platinum illustration book for $30 - i needed this card for one of my retro decks; it’s become a lot more expensive and hard to find lately!

Pretty embarrassing whoopsie purchase 
. Last week I was thumbing through my artwork binder and realized I still hadn’t purchased a Light Jolteon to complement my Dark Jolteon. I went on TCG player to purchase a MP copy. I must’ve been distracted because somehow I managed to buy a damaged copy that was the same price as the MP copy 
Completely my fault but I wish TCG player required photos for listings.
I’ve always liked that Dark Jolteon looks like an aggressive stray Pokemon you’d find in the streets. I guess it’s only fitting that the Light Jolteon looks like it came off the street to. Covered in dirt and grime yet still protecting the Togepi and Rattata from the evil Dark Jolteon

GREAT pickup! 
My greatest nostalgia from childhood is seeing the packaging on the shelf. Even the smell from the old sealed product. (I have a few JP decks that still have that smell, amazingly… It’s like being back at the comics store / LGS, and looking at the boxes sitting there with all the potential product and cool shiny cardboard inside. That’s why I collect opened packaging.

Finally got the frame in for this one. This is likely a 1/1, with the low pops on some of these it will be difficult for someone else to have the entire WOTC set in PSA 10. Or maybe there is another weirdo out there
