Couldn’t resist after some of the recent chat around the TOMY playsets (or polly pockets, seem to be searchable under a few terms). This and the Lapras version seem by far the more common in the UK - not seen any evidence to differentiate it from the US release (whereas the Japanese has different colours and stickers). Big nostalgia here!

- Hunting some limited release cards.

Bought 2 Japanese Eevee Heroes boxes on eBay from 2 different sellers. I got donged on the first box (see the Aroma Lady SR) but managed to pull the Umbreon V SR in the second box. I’m a little relieved I didn’t get the Gordie SR in either boxes.
I also completed the V Eevee Evolutions V set. I was initially was little bummed I didn’t pull the Vaperon V but then I remembered I had the English version from an old tin. 
I’m probably going to trade the Umbreon V but I can’t help but admire the textured full art print patterns (please excuse me if the terminology is incorrect). I mostly collect older cards. However, there are really are some beautiful modern cards.

It’s nothing crazy rare but hits hard in terms of nostalgia. I’ve been working on mastering Charmander in English (first 25 years). The idea is to send off the entire set to get sequentially graded once completed. I got one shot it, so I’m doing the best I can to make sure everything is as clean as possible and shoot for 9/10s.
