Most recent pick up! I think this card is the perfect send off for the WOTC and gen 2 era of the TCG! With Pokémon’s popularity dying down and the WOTC era ending I find it rather fitting that Lugia and Ho-oh got the Crystal treatment at the end of it all. Aquapolis and Skyridge really have sense of finality for me for the original era and this card really encompassed that for me!

Welllllll after the only recent public sale (that I know of anyway) of a PSA 10 No Rarity Gyarados went for 30K on PWCC I had to face facts that’d I’ll probably never own a PSA 10 copy and decided to buy this very nice PSA 9 copy. The card is perfect aside from front centering. Really, really happy with it

Got my grail !
This card was so difficult to get one.
Since May 15th I started looking for it desperately, all the people who had listed were fake lists, just to flex, in fact in the comments they leave written were as “already sold”, “only for memory”, “not for sale” or things like that. And every legit list did not yet have the product because they were in transit from Pokemon Company to them, and obviously if you waited it was too late because there are so many people who buy immediately even if they do not have the card yet, since customer service is 99% efficient in China no one is afraid of being scammed.
The people who already physically had the card have listed them all at double of the market price.
Every time many people promised to sell it to me, but in the end they sold it to others without even notifying me, some even cancelled the order to then resell it for more because the price of this card increased exponentially day after day.
By May 21st the market price of this card was 35k ( 4850 usd) and at that point I had given up on buying it. At one point I go to check the price again out of curiosity, and I find one listed at 26k, I immediately contact to ask what the issue had the card and why listed for so cheap, the seller shows me the video and tells me that it is off-center and has some white dots, probably PSA 8-9 quality,Without even thinking twice I bought it immediately.
Then I ask the seller how long he had listed it for and how many people had already contacted him. He replies that the card had only been listed for 10 minutes and I was the third person to contact him.

Got the last two cards that I was still missing to complete my ADV Expansion Pack/EX Ruby & Sapphire master set. Really happy to finally have it finished.

Finally, there was a local woman selling plenty of Yu-Gi-Oh and some Pokemon cards. She had about 500 cards listed for 50 cents each. Although the condition of most of the cards is really bad I just could not resist to pick up this lot for a total of 8€.

I luckily picked up multiple copies of the Chinese mew pre-pump (and unluckily sold one off for $4k USD post pump because the buyer and I had agreed to the price prior to the boom)
It’s one of the prettiest cards I’ve seen in person and the presentation is wonderful with a subtle cracked ice holo on the envelope
As more of these come out I wonder if the prices will hold. I was only able to buy half the ones I purchased bc sellers would back out refund me instead of shipping for the listed price
