New additions to my Arita Collection. I’ve resisted the Arceus boosters for a LONG time because I don’t like Arita’s CG graphics styled work. BUT I do like the zapdos, and these opened packs were way too cheap not to just catch 'em. Ignore the awkward playmat framing… 
Also, a perfect swirl Player’s Rekuza! Been wanting one for a while and it’s graded!

I picked up a playtest voltorb from an alt auction recently. There’s a lot of controversy over them but I personally think they’re neat pieces of history.

A few bits from this week…some promos for my 151 binder collection:
Kept missing this Squirtle on the Pokemon Center as everything I was ordering was on pre-order and they don’t let you claim these freebies with pre-orders for whatever reason. So I had to pay £35 for this one.
Super Premium Collection promos. I’m including these in my 151 promos even though the 'zard is technically just a general SVP promo. Can’t bring myself to split them up though.
Also grabbed this cheap Latias ultra rare. The texture pattern is just beautiful imo.
Think I will be picking up all of my modern (outside of doing full sets like 151) in Japanese because I can no longer resist the higher quality and much cheaper prices on singles. This Latias has just cemented that decision. It was only about £6-7 inc. postage and I feel I got a lot of card for my money.

finally being shipped back to me after longtime cgc got it 29/8 but due to spare parts missing it sat there waiting.
got an overall great grade and seal grade and i snatched that VHS for 275$ which was a lot less than what others sell it on ebay now and it can finally join my factory sealed second movie jap version vhs graded

Congratulations! First wee while is scary but once you get going it’s a blast. Ours is nearly 2 and just the pure joy he gets sometimes males every day special.

After what felt like forever it has finally arrived. All up to date on regular variants and these staff cards look amazing. I love the trainer tip cards too but i only have a couple sets of those.

Assuming it ships I have just bought another rare error card. None on the PSA list for Raichu, I will probably crack it and send it to them. Any recognised are in poor condition and this is no exception!

Well, I know in the 2025 goals thread I said I’m trying to complete my gen 1/2 wotc dex, but I was very bad and bought a bunch of ADV cards this week.
I’ve been visually burnt out looking for the same cards when I go online, especially as I near the finish and the list of cards I’m searching for is shrinking.
So! I went on cardmarket and looked ahead to see the sets after e-series.
Silver was the last game I played so I have no connection to later gens, but it was cool to see the art from this era.
I also could not believe how cheap these were! £3, £4, £5 for most, only Absol was £7. All are in amazing condition. I pretty much bought all the cards I like from the era, but there’s a few I’ll go back and get after I finish my original goal.

The Manectric looks like it’s in the same environment as Tyranitar from Wind from the Sea. I LOVE it!
