Thought it was about time I got the card I recreated at last year’s E4 Art Contest =)

E4 ART CONTEST 2023 Thread! (Complete! Special Announcement for next year)

Recreation category Name: Thunder Stoned [Thunder_Stoned_Martin_Recreation_E4_2023] Based on: 003/T (T Promotional cards) I love the Jolteon design from this set so I tried recreating it as a layered paper art! In order to capture the “3D” effect, I decided to take a picture instead of a scan. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do all of everyone’s submissions! Different perspective and lighting:

Now I love the artwork even more! The OG sticker came with the purchase as a surprise.

Along with the Jolteon, I also received these beautiful Eeveelutions from Aquapolis and Skyridge today. I’m almost done with the commons and uncommons for all e-series sets and am now picking up the rares.

I especially love the Espeon—it reminds me of my cats running up the stairs when they hear the tuna cans being cracked.

A big milestone for me, i now have completed my Tomokazu Komiya binder with all the tcg artworks made by him. It took years to complete it but i purposely didn’t rush it to have something special coming regularly in mail and tried to appreciate all the individual artworks more uniquely this way. If not counting new releases these three ended up being the last cards i needed for this collection.

The photo may look a bit weird and i was going to upload a cropped one until i noticed that i captured in my photo someone who had wandered in to check what i was doing and i thought the end result was adorable

Congratulations! Three great cards. I also took my time with my Komiya binder. Sourcing as many as of them at LGS. The only card I am missing is the 2000 New Year Present. I never picked that up back in the day and still don’t have it. Someday maybe.?

Congratulations! I still remember the last card I needed for my collection and that was years ago now.
For me it was sad to finish a journey that took so long to complete. How do you feel with it?
