Something for everybody: dark pokemon, gold stars, reverse holos. The holofoil on the base charizard is one of nicest I’ve seen in a while. The goldstar charizard is so off center, that the charizard is centered aligned hehe

What’s the story of the battle carnival jumbo? It’s awesome

During the BW era, Japan held “Battle Carnival” events every spring/autumn of 2011 through 2013. This jumbo specifically was awarded during the Spring 2012 Battle Carnival, which was held in four cities for 1 to 2 days between May through June.
Based on this blog and this blog, there were several kid-oriented activities such as battling against “gym leaders” and deck building class, even a guest appearance of Imakuni at Yokohama. The jumbo was a participation prize for “Pokémon Card Game Experience Battle” where it seems children and a guardian/parent would battle each other. The same artwork can be found on deck sleeves and deck box, also given as prizes.

Totally agree, Dragonair in general is blessed with amazing Non-Holo cards. But this one is so amazing, I am glad I still have my Japanese childhood copy of it.
